Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit pdfsent.com ("NOTES.", "the site"), and how it's used. NOTES. does not have user accounts or logins — but a few third-party services used to run the site, including an optional email newsletter, do collect limited data as described below.

1. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site's hosting and supporting services automatically log some technical information when you visit:

• Hosting logs — the site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log standard server data such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps as part of normal web hosting.
• Visitor counter — a small visitor badge (via visitorbadge.io) records an anonymous hit count per page load, shown in the site header. It does not collect personal information beyond what's needed to increment a counter.
• Per-note download / preview counts — each note shows a download count and preview count, using the same visitorbadge.io service keyed to that note. These only update when you actually click that note's Download or Preview button — never just from viewing the page. No personal information is attached — it's an anonymous tally, the same as the header counter.
• Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts' CDN, which may log standard request data (such as IP address) as part of serving the font files.

2. Newsletter signup

The site offers an optional email signup ("Notify Me") so you can hear when new notes are added. If you submit your email address, it is sent to and stored by Formspree, a third-party form-processing service, and used only to send you updates about new content on this site. Signing up is entirely optional — nothing else on the site requires it. See Formspree's privacy policy for how they handle submitted data.

3. Cookies and advertising

This site does not use its own tracking cookies, but it does display advertisements served by Google AdSense:

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. You can find more about how Google uses data at Google's Partner Sites policy.

4. What is not collected

This site has no login system, no comment section, and no analytics beyond the visitor counter described above. No names, payment details, or other personal data are collected by the site itself — the only personal data collected anywhere on the site is the email address you choose to submit to the optional newsletter signup, described in Section 2.

The "NOTES. Guide" chat button on the homepage runs entirely in your browser. It answers common questions from a fixed set of canned responses — it does not use any external chat service, AI API, or server, and does not send, log, or store anything you type.

5. Third-party links

Downloaded PDFs and outbound links (such as to source documentation) may lead to third-party sites with their own privacy practices. This policy only covers pdfsent.com.

6. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated occasionally to reflect changes in the services this site uses. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
